Frozen Charlotte
By Alex Bell

Have you had to endure the pain of losing your best friend? Sophie has, in a mysterious way. In the beginning of the book, Frozen Charlotte, Sophie and her best friend Jay download an Ouija board game on his phone. While playing the game they ask many questions, including some about Sophie’s dead cousin, Rebecca. Jay chooses to ask when he’s going to die and the game spells out “t-o-n-i-g-h-t”. Both kids don’t believe it and they go about their night. Oddly enough, Jay ends up dying on his way home and Sophie believes it has something to do with the Ouija board and Rebecca. Sophie is extremely heartbroken and sad over the loss of Jay, so she is going to do everything and anything to find out what happened to him and get to the bottom of the mystery.
Sophie visits her aunt, uncle and cousins to see if she can find out what's going on with Rebecca and if she can get any hints as to why her best friend mysteriously died. When she gets there, the oldest cousin Piper shows her around, while the younger one, Lila's follows their shadows. After when Sophie is by herself Lila's comes out of nowhere and tells her that someone was holding her hand, and walked into Rebecca's room after. This makes Sophie very curious about what is going on in the house. This book leaves everyone questioning and wanting more, you can't put it down. Personally, I love this book because it leaves you hanging after every chapter, making you want to read more and never being able to put it down. I highly recommend everyone reads Frozen Charlotte, especially teen girls because it revolves around a girl that age.
